ABOUT ME

Holding Space for Those Who Need to Heal and Connect

Hi! I'm Traci, and I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My area of expertise is providing coaching services that focus on different aspects of mental health, such as mindfulness, self-care, overall well-being, growth mindset, and using positive psychology techniques to enhance your life. With my Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I have a strong foundation in understanding various personality and behavioral theories that explain why we tend to put obstacles in our path toward wellness, self-care, and personal growth. Recognizing how our social circles and communities shape our self-perception and societal role is essential. We can identify these influences through social and positive psychology and learn to adjust our behavior to achieve significant and sustainable growth.


As a mental health specialist, I prioritize establishing empathic, compassionate, and respectful relationships with my clients. I maintain confidentiality and privacy in all activities to ensure trust and comfort. I always strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for my clients to share their thoughts and feelings.

Mindfulness is made up of two essential components: awareness and acceptance. Awareness involves having knowledge and the ability to concentrate on one's internal processes and experiences, such as being present in the moment. Acceptance is the ability to acknowledge and accept one's thoughts without any judgment or avoidance.


The benefits of mindfulness are numerous. By cultivating a deeper perspective on one's consciousness and identity, one can achieve a greater sense of inner peace and improve relationships with others. Mindfulness-based therapies are often used to address issues such as stress, anxiety, and pain. Additionally, simply practicing mindfulness can help individuals become more relaxed and centered.

Every single human being has a bit of healing to do. Positive psychology is a scientific field concerned with studying human thoughts, emotions, and behaviors from the standpoint of strengths rather than weaknesses. The main objective of this field is to improve the positive aspects of life, such as happiness, fulfillment, and well-being, instead of simply fixing the negative aspects. This approach stresses the importance of building on what is already good in a person's life and taking them from average to excellent rather than just helping them reach an average level.

Individuals, families, and communities can take charge of their health, cope with illnesses, and promote overall well-being, with or without the support of healthcare providers. The main objective of self-care is to prevent or control health issues and preserve overall well-being through consistent care of various aspects of one's own health.


It's essential to recognize that wellness encompasses many dimensions of health, and each is interconnected within an individual's overall well-being. Nowadays, many wellness initiatives are adopting the Eight Dimensions of Wellness, which include emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual factors, in order to promote longevity and enhance the quality of life.

CULTIVATING A GROWTH MINDSET USING REBT PRACTICES AND TECHNIQUES

Having a growth mindset is important, as it allows us to expand and succeed in life. A fixed mindset can hold us back, making us believe that our abilities are fixed and unchangeable. But with a growth mindset, we can believe in our ability to improve and grow with practice. Even small exercises can help us cultivate a growth mindset and achieve our goals. Remember that the power to improve is within you.
